Dropzone Commander January Release Schedule
Backing Cards.
The Blister packs for Dropzone Commander are about to change, or soon will. In each one, the backing cardstock will include a pop out card with the stats of the unit type you are buying. This will give players easier access to the units information that they are fielding. You can even separate these into your battle groups for easy access, or just as easy reminders. No more opening up a book or using a print out to find out what your MF value is.

Invasion of New Eden
Invasion of New Eden is the name given to a campaign pack that had been delayed previously, and is now set for a January release.

Underground Hanger
The underground hanger is a scenario pack that includes a large underground hanger door. Its large enough for heavy dropships to emerge from, and the rules for using it will become available this coming month. This was a model that was delayed as well, and is now ready for release towards the end of January.

Rumor Compilations

Harlequins
via Darnok's Birdy on Warseer
After that come.... Harlequins. Multiple plastic kits and clams over several weeks I think including new jetbike riding ones, is there a current or old name for them? These are called sky weaver.
Unless there is anything big I’m unaware of this Should be hitting February, or March at the latest.

thought I'd add some info I've heard, normally what I hear is pretty reliable, harlequins will be coming, so will deathwatch at some point this year probably. We already know necrons are here soon, I don't have a lot of info on that but know tesla is changing, just a nerf to the snap shots afaik.

via duffybear1988 on Warseer
6 figures included on the sprue (possibly one is a venom crewman).
No seer or jester on the sprue my source has.
Masks are separate to heads and there are far more masks than needed.
Lots of swords/blades for various poses.
Nearly all are in dynamic leaping/dancing poses on Eldar ruin

via Steve the Warboss on Faeit 212
MID MAY
Warhammer 9th, new Starter Set
-Second Army in starter is still unknown first is Empire.
-Starter includes two booklets
-The first is a typical booklet with starter rules and profiles without special rules ect.
-The second is like them from the 40k campaign sets with following content:
-Story
-Scenarios
-Full Rules for all Models in the Box including special rules
-The Profiles and Models can be used as unique characters and units in standard games
-Like 40k Dark vengeance there will be two expansion sets for both armies
Here's last month's rumors to add some context:
Warhammer Endtimes/9th Edition Latest
-Endtimes will become more than 4 Book
-The last Books will maybe released after the 9th Edition
-Empire will be the first Armybook of the new edition
-The Work on the Rules has already completed
-Endtimes will maybe not mentioned in the Rulebook
-The Design Studio seems working on Siege Rules for an Expansion
-The Starter Set will return to "step by step" introduction
-No allied Matrix like 40k, we become something like "factions"
-GW plans the release for May, Starter will come in June
9th Edition Warhammer Fantasy Battles:
-One Profile for Mounted Units (like End Times units).
-End Times was full designed for the new Edition, the Books will be 100% compatible.
-No new Armybook releases until the New Edition is released.
-Empire in the starter set, the opposing army is undetermined.

Adeptus Mechanicus- Skitarii
via anonymous sources on Faeit 212
General
The new faction is in fact Ad Mech, Skitarii. As far as I know this is still a ways out, but who knows. There is only troops and elites, with vehicles. Mostly foot soldiers, guys with spider legs, and a couple tank/spider hybrids.

I have a little information for you on a new 40k Faction. Ive seen artwork of two soldiers in heavy but clunky grey body armour and helm, with one wielding an odd looking plasma pistol of sorts. The most striking thing about the image, with smoke and laser fire in the background, is the draping of the red cloth beneath the shoulder plating, and a symbol of the Adeptus Mechanicus on the main figures chest. All I will add right now is the book is 85pgs with datasheets and formations.

Weapons
the plasma pistol described in your previous article is not an odd looking plasma pistol. its an arc pistol. arc weapons will be available for the skitarii in both pistol and rifle. the arc rifle is rapid fire with haywire. rifle and pistol both are s6 ap5.

Cognis Weapons are normal weapons with the Cognis attached to it, like Cognis Lascannon. They simply use a BS 2 when firing snap shots because of an awakened machine spirit.

Burst Pistol rules allow for 5 shots to be fired instead of just a single one.

Galvanic Rifle looks like an ornate flintlock rifle with a canister on the side. R30", rapid fire, S4.

Onager Dunewalker
a heavy choice walker called a Onager Dunewalker will be part of the skitarii. they are an armor 12 walker that comes with overlapping forcefields that give an invulnerable save. each additional walker in the squad increases the save by 1. they come with a conversion beamer type weapon that is more powerful up close and disperses to a large but weaker blast at longer range. squadrons up to 3.

Dragoon Walker
There is also a Dragoon which looks to be a dual kit with a rider on top of a bipedal machine. It has legs similar to the IG sentinels, but has a grafted human in the center of the machine. I am not as fluent in the background with the skitarii as I would like to comment much more.

Ive seen a walker bearing the ad mech symbols on it. The walker has a horizontal pilot hooked up to the machine with optical lenses for the pilots sight, and little mechanical grabbers that extend out from the pilots hands. There is a gunner on top in red robes and odd looking armor that reminds me of the tempestus armor except for larger eye lenses. The walker has sentinel legs, and the weapon up top is a ornate twin-linked lascannon.

Other Rumors
via Nightfury from the Faeit 212 Comment Section
2015 will be the year of supplements and campaigns. Dark angels will almost certainly feature in the next campaign which i heard quite possibly is called DarkStorm
