Its been an interesting week, and most of it I have been out in the woods camping. That does not mean that the news stopped or slowed down, as we had plenty of rumors this week regarding where Games Workshop is taking Campaign box sets in the future, and the fate of the starter set Dark Vengeance.

New Rumors This Week
7th Edition 40k

Rumors this week have centered around the new pre-order Stormclaw, and the future of Campaign Box Sets and Dark Vengeance.

We talked about this months ago :PWe will be seeing lots more. Campaigns will be a big part of 7th to keep the narrative flowing.
Every other codex will have a campaign bridge with the next.Like Orks - campaign - Space Wolvesfor Example Dark Eldar - campaign - Blood Angels.
Each campaign is 3 parts.1. before the box that sets the stage. Roughly alongside the first codex.2. inside the box for the bulk of the fighting3. after the box that concludes the campaign. Roughly alongside the second codex.
DV wont be pulled from each release, that's just happening now to make ensure that they all have 7th edition rule books (I don't know if old sets are being opened and then repackaged, but they just don't want 6th being sold). Anyone who bought DV recently btw can get a 7th mini rule book for free if they have their receipt showing the purchase date within a month of 7ths release.
I don't know for sure, but it was mentioned that all narrative boxes (like storm claw) will come with the mini rule book as added incentive, but DV will remain on the shelves as the starter product.
6 months per is roughly accurate. Their life cycles are directly tied to codex releases.
All will have special edition models like Krom and the Ork. That wont be later released separately. They will be box exclusive.

It isn't snap fit. It's the existing space wolf and ork sprues in slightly different volumes than what you'd get if you bought the boxes separately in order to make all the models included. The two characters are effectively the same as the plastic clam-pack characters we've been seeing for some time now.  They are the only new models.I should also add that the ork/space wolf HQs won't be available separately.

Just received a forwarded confirmation from GW.  The Stormclaw box set is limited edition/limited time only.  Dark Vengeance will be back with the new mini-rulebook later.  I know another source mentioned this but this was straight from GW.  Later we should have the details about the contents if its snap fit or actual sprues.

GW will release other Campagin Books with included old expansions from the softcover era. Storm Claw will be not the last Campaign based boxed set, every half year there comes a new boxed sets of this kind. This Sets can be imperial guard vs. eldar, blood angels vs orks or other Themes.

Nurgle and Chaos Daemons

We have a collection of Nurgle rumors from various places.
via an anonymous source on Faeit 212 (vague rumor) they are saying its a palanquin of Nurgle model, herald or ku'gath options.
via 75hastings69 on WarseerThere's something large & nurgle-y coming first (before Brettonians)
It's not a GUO, it's bigger than current GUO, giant sized

via an anonymous source on Faeit 212In July for one week, we become in one Month a Nurgle release
-Nugle Beast in Plastic
-Plague Marines Box with Termi Bitz
-Something big but not a Greater Demon of Nurgle

via BolsFinally several weeks back there was talk of a Chaos Release window coming after Orks with multiple kits, which were widely believed to be the plastic Greater Daemons.  It was described as follows:
- Chaos Daemons Release Window
- 3-4 Week release period
- Daemon themed Apoc Warzone Book
- New CD Dataslates
- New CD Formations

New Book, New Release Schedule
We have a new book coming out, surprise surprise, and it features the Prevailers.
This is a new beginning, however, as it marks the start of our new Six Month Release Cycle. Basically, in the past, we've had one big release each year at GenCon, then the contents of that book would be slowly released over the next year. It's nice to see everything so far in advance, but it also grinds on players waiting 8+ months for one model or unit they like. So in that light we've decided to pull our focus from one big book every year to a six month schedule.
What does that mean exactly? It means each book we release will primarily focus on 1 new faction and the releases over the next six months- Not to say the book will only contain 1 faction, but that will be it's primary focus (Example, our new book will focus on Prevailers, with additions to select existing armies).
This also means the book will contain more fiction and fluff about the select faction than was possible before, as it now gets an entire book dedicated to it, rather than 1/3 or 1/2 of an existing one.
Most importantly, however, it means we can consolidate our release schedule so that it's firmly set in advance. Meaning that for each six month period you'll know exactly what and when something is coming out.
We've been making some huge pushes lately to get not only the existing line caught up but also working in the future to get things ready as well... So CORE players rejoice, your time is coming.

 WMHordes Circle Spoiler‏

via a reader on Faeit 212
The new Warmahordes stuff is up on pp's site for exigence. At templecon it was spoiled by hungerford that the new circle caster Bradigus will have a limited battlegroup (to constructs) and the synergy spell (which is totally new to hordes!)
