Welcome back.  I'm still Robert Allen, we are still looking at Deadzone.   It's been a bit - I'll forgive you if you forgot about me.

But hopefully you haven't forgotten about:

This go around we are going to take a look at the fantastic things you can do with a Deadzone table of terrain.

Here's just a simple set of cube buildings, but with a striking dirty white paintjob, obvious signs of wear and tear - oh, and, some bloodstains - every decorator's secret weapon. I'd say the frontier city where these prefab buildings probably stand might not be the nicest place during a Deadzone.

A longer piece now, covering four cubes, and a lot more playable interest - ground cover between the cubes, along with a lamp light for visual interest.  On top you have an elevated walkway, giving you extra visibility but also provided all-too-important cover.   In a game of Deadzone this piece would be instantly popular - both for a great defensive asset, but also to deny is to your enemies.

A three story tower - Sniper's Paradise.  And better yet, there are lower-level locations that perfect for guarding your sniper - no snipers like to be snuck up on, after all.

Here we have a bird's eye view of the table, showing off how the various component buildings make up a built-up fighting area that really makes Deadzone so exciting.   Every part of the table has good assets to put troops in, and protection from many lines of fire.

Of course this sort of table would work for many games above and beyond Deadzone.  But that's another article!

That's it for Deadzone for now.  We'll come back to it after the next wave of releases, but for now, I think it's time for a trip to Hell.
